Nov. 6—LIMA — OmniTRAX has been selected as the dedicated switching partner for Lima's Procter and Gamble factory, the company announced. The new rail agreement, which began on Nov. 1, marks the third P&G manufacturing plant served by the OmniTRAX's network. OmniTRAX will manage daily operational needs serving P&G's Lima manufacturing plant, switching daily inbound cars to the plants for placement and returning newly empty cars on P&G's outbound track from the facility's 550-acre campus. The new rail service partnership includes facility switching, rail inspection, rail maintenance and repair and all corresponding operation reporting for the Fortune 50's growing Lima operation."We are pleased to add P&G's Lima operations to the OmniTRAX rail network," said Ryan Higgins, chief commercial officer for OmniTRAX.
